Before you start
How do I get started?
Install Moontech from your store's app market, open it in your store dashboard, and chat with our agent. It reviews your store and proposes your first campaign.
Do I need to be a Moontech client already?
No. Installing the app and chatting with the agent is how you become one.
How much does it cost?
The app is free. Your first campaign starts from $1,000, with the return on ad spend guaranteed for that phase. There is no subscription and no contract; you scale the budget as the sales come in.
Who chooses the creators?
Moontech's agents match creators to your products and your goals. You set the offer and the budget; the agents find the creators whose audiences buy products like yours.
What the app does in your store
What will I see when I connect?
A consent screen asking for access to your store. It lists exactly what you are granting: read your orders and products, create and manage discount codes, and notify Moontech when an order is placed. You accept once, and that one grant covers every campaign you run on that store.
What exactly does Moontech get access to?
Three things. Your orders, so a sale made with a creator's code is credited to that creator and reversed if it is refunded. Your products and categories, so a code can be limited to what your offer covers. Your discount codes, which Moontech creates and deactivates. Nothing else.
What does the app change in my store?
Discount codes only. It creates a unique code for each creator and reads your orders to validate the sales made with those codes. It does not change your products, prices, stock or existing orders.
How does a sale get credited to a creator?
You approve a creator for your campaign and Moontech creates their code on your store, carrying your offer and set to expire at campaign end. A shopper uses it at your own checkout. The sale appears in your reporting within moments, from your store's own order record. A refund reverses it, and the creator is paid on what stands.
What happens to my customers' data?
Moontech does not ask for it. A code identifies the creator who earned the sale, never the shopper who made it. Your store credentials are encrypted and held in Frankfurt, never in our own database, and you can end the access from your store dashboard at any time.
What conditions can I put on the discount?
Every code carries a percentage off or a fixed amount off, and an expiry, normally the last day of the campaign. Beyond that you can set a minimum order value, a cap on a percentage, full-price items only, a limit to particular products or categories, or a limit on uses per customer. Which of these your store can enforce at checkout depends on the store, and Moontech confirms yours when the campaign is set up.
What happens when a campaign ends?
The codes are switched off, not deleted, so your order history is unchanged.
How do I disconnect?
Remove the app from your store dashboard, which ends Moontech's access to your store.
